1 Introduction, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
Apologies were received from David Melding AM. In accordance with Standing Order 17.22 Eluned Parrott AM nominated Simon Thomas AM as temporary Chair.
Apologies were also received from Julie James AM. Mick Antoniw AM substituted.

The Committee considered the instruments and was content.

The Committee considered the Instrument and reported to the Assembly.
4 Consideration of The School Admission Appeals Code
The Committee considered the Code and was content that it was made in accordance with the correct powers and procedures.
5 Evidence in relation to the Control of Horses (Wales) Bill
The Committee took evidence from the Alun Davies AM, Minister for Natural Resources and Food. The Committee agreed to write to the Minister ahead of the Stage 1 Debate.
